コレクション: Richard Resch
The German tenor, Richard Resch, received his first musical education with the Regensburger Domspatzen. After graduation of Elementary Musical Education and Piano at Hochschule für Musik in Augsburg he studied Classical Singing with Agnes Habereder, Hans-Joachim Beyer, Edda Sevenich and Dominik Wortig at Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum of Augsburg University and Early Music and Ensemble Music at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel with Evelyn Tubb and Anthony Rooley. To complete his studies he attended master-classes with Margreet Honig, Regina Resnik, Rudolf Jansen, Michael Nagy, Rudolf Piernay, Udo Reinemann, Wolfram Rieger, Gerd Türk and oratorio classes with Hans-Jörg Albrecht und Frieder Bernius.
Richard Resch was awarded at several international Opera Competitions like „Concorso Internazionale di Canto Toti dal Monte“ in Treviso (2009), International Opera Competition "Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg" (2010), International Opera Competition of "Gut Immling". In December 2012, he was awarded by the city of Augsburg with its "arts award".
In addition to the well-known stage and concert repertoire, chamber music making is especially close to his heart - whether in a song duo with piano, lute or guitar, or whether with string or vocal ensemble, from the Renaissance to contemporary works. With collaborative, transparent music-making, he also likes to bring lesser-known repertoire closer to the audience. For example, with the newly founded vocal ensemble "Alerĭon" or established groups such as "Vox Luminis" or "Voces Suaves".
Increasingly, Richard Resch also devotes himself to pedagogical activities, passing on his personal experience and craft knowledge to students worldwide in interpretation classes and master classes, as most recently at Hong Kong University, Kharkov National Kotlyarevsky University of Arts, Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and West Texas A&M University.
In November 2022, his solo debut CD "Wenn ich nur Dich hab" was released by Carpe Diem Records.
