Corina Marti (recorder) and ensemble: Chamber music and solo works by Charles Dieupart
The new CD of Corina Marti and her ensemble is an intoxicating and vividly played first recording of the music of Charles Dieupart in form of the trio sonata with recorder and treble viol.
The international ensemble explores this largely unknown late French repertoire in its very distinct style. The Israeli harpsichordist Yizhar Karshon plays one of the “six suites” by Dieupart in its original edition as a solo suite for harpsichord.
