The Label

Carpe Diem Records is a Berlin-based, independent record label specializing in Early Music, Classical Music, Jazz, and Early Fusion sounds.

Since 2008, the label has been owned and curated by balance engineer and producer Jonas Niederstadt, who aims at creating audiophile recordings of the highest technical and artistic quality. Over the years, he established his signature sound on the label, which is often referred to as intimate and emotional, yet clear and transparent.

Many of the label's releases have been awarded prizes and media recommendations, such as the PDSK (German Record Critics Award), Diapason d'Or, Gramophone Magazine's Edtor's Choice, Scherzo Magazine's 'Exceptional' and countless more.

Carpe Diem albums are available as physical CDs in stores worldwide, and in download and streaming formats including high-resolution audio, on all respective platforms.
