"Dónde son estas serranas" ist das neue Konzeptalbum des Komponisten und Lautenisten Lee Santana, zusammen mit dem deutschen Jazzgitarristen und Komponisten Andreas Wahl. Das Programm basiert auf einem alten spanischen Liebeslied. Es taucht im Laufe des Albums in verschiedenen Arrangements und Kompositionen wieder auf, manche sehr nah am Original, manche sehr weit davon entfernt.
Die Musik reicht von spanischer Renaissancemusik bis hin zu zeitgenössischen Jazz- und Rockelementen und schafft eine faszinierende Verschmelzung von Musik aus sehr unterschiedlichen Zeiten und Stilen, die Jahrhunderte westlicher Musikkultur zu etwas absolut Neuem, Einzigartigem und Zeitlosem verschmelzen lässt.
